Track 1 on CD "Humanity"

 This track had it's birth by way of a weekly jam session.  We had been discussing the state of  the world with respect to the war in Iraq and US involvement etc.   John  came up with the principle lyrics as Dale started the guitar part.  Doug and Mark sort of joined in to complete the mix.   We all had a blast playing it and after several weeks of attempting to recreate the original, and fine tuning the lyrics we more or less came up with this version recorded on the CD.  This was another example of how we sometimes have a hard time re-creating the magic of the jam session when the song originally took shape.  We continued to refine the song and after several mixes decided on this take using very little overdubs except for lead guitar and backup vocals.  I think we all feel we satisfied with this version.
